Program

Students taking part in the program will have a one-on-one introductory conversation with their paired professor and converse about what the student is interested in and the professor's research.

Preparing for Success: Prior to commencing the Research Assistant Internship with a professor, students will take part in preparatory classes supervised by GIRE consultant.

Meeting with the professor either individually or as a group for one hour every one or two weeks, depending on the professor's requirements, to gain insight into their research process.

A letter of reference composed by the professor will be given just to those students who have satisfied the professor's standards. Students who finish all programs will receive a GIRE certificate of completion.
