In contrast to the past rote memorization and repetitive learning in education, which heavily relied on the one-way transfer of fragmented knowledge, modern education is shifting towards fostering critical thinking, logical analysis, and independent exploration of knowledge, recognizing that the monopoly of piecemeal knowledge once held by humans can now be surpassed by AI with its superior capabilities, making it essential in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to cultivate individuals who can integrate and apply knowledge across multiple fields for innovative re-creation.

In line with this, the field of Research and Education (R&E) is also undergoing transformation to create future talents with creative thinking skills, who can integrate and apply diverse knowledge and engage in re-creation. To nurture future-oriented talents, R&E programs that pursue personalized and specialized educational experiences are being implemented to cater to such forward-thinking students.

However, R&E faces challenges in keeping up with the fast-paced digital transformation, and students consistently feel the absence of a holistic educational experience that embraces interdisciplinary learning. Providing the right educational experiences for students to grow into individuals who can analyze and communicate their thoughts and ideas clearly and logically in alignment with these future changes has now become imperative.

In response to this, GIRE offers exceptional fellowship programs, allowing outstanding Korean students to experience world-class R&E (Research and Education) programs, conducted three times a year (spring, summer, and fall semesters). This program provides a unique opportunity for students to engage in research alongside top scholars on a global stage. With the support of distinguished professors from renowned global universities and the exceptional Research Consultant team within the GIRE Group, students are empowered to develop their own distinct colors and differentiate themselves as talents based on their individual interests, desired majors, and career paths, moving away from standardized R&E experiences.

To go beyond uniform R&E experiences and ensure qualitative excellence in the research process, the GIRE Fellowship Program designs students' research goals more meticulously and provides top-notch research consulting services to manage the research process effectively, leading to outstanding research outcomes.
